Job Overview

The Junior Project Manager is responsible to assist the Project Manager. He will contribute to delivering various projects on time and on budget while maintaining the highest level of quality and ensuring customer (internal or external) satisfaction.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Prepare purchase requisitions and design request
  • Update MS project files, prepare project reports, compile project progress information
  • Follow up on progress with manufacturing (internal and external) and equipment suppliers
  • Liaise with the design and manufacturing teams to provide required technical and project information
  • Prepare minutes of meetings and project documentation
  • Assist with project commissioning and Startup

Education & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MS Project
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Strong organizational, communication and planning skills
  • Knowledge of industrial processes and thermal plasma is an asset
  • A diploma in engineering or engineering technology is an asset
  • Willingness to travel abroad (short periods, up to a maximum of 3 months)
  • The knowledge of English is required as we serve an international client


  • Any level of experience will be considered
  • Experience in a project-based environment in an industrial setting is considered an asset
