Job Overview The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for planning, organizing, and performing quality inspections of incoming material and equipment, products under fabrication and final products. Having a high sense of attention to detail, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for strict adherence to the organization’s quality assurance policies and dentification of defects and/or production errors. Responsibilities & Tasks *Perform pneumatic and hydrostatic testing on equipment and prepare necessary reports *Inspect all incoming and outgoing equipment, Write inspection reports *Inspect all equipment manufactured internally and among subcontractors and prepare inspection reports *Create and maintain all quality and inspection technical documentation and logs *Provide technical documentation and support for quality issues, i.e. produce the reports of non-compliance (NCR) *Work closely in collaboration with equipment manufacturers *Conduct inspections throughout the manufacturing process *Perform other duties as required by the immediate supervisor and for which the person is qualified *Perform internal quality assurance checks that are consistent with the policies, practices, and company procedures *Help to manage the manufacturing calibration program * Perform other duties as required by the immediate supervisor and for which the person is qualified Education & Qualifications * DEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent *Good knowledge of process equipment for industrial plumbing *Autonomous with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and strong decision-making skills *Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) * FR Experience *5-10 years’ experience in quality control or production in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the field of mechanical welding or chemical processes PyroGenesis Canada Inc. thanks all applicants for their interest.
