High Power Plasma Torches
These Air Plasma Torches supply the high energy, with temperatures in the neighborhood of 5000°C, necessary for gasification or vitrification of waste material. The power of plasma breaks down all types of waste from hazardous, industrial, clinical and municipal into basic chemical molecules. PyroGenesis’ customized torches range in power from 50 kW to 500 kW.

Compact Coaxial Plasma Spray Torches (Miniguns)
PyroGenesis designs and fabricates compact Coaxial Plasma Spray Torches, or Miniguns, for Atmospheric Plasma Spraying Operations. Using these low power plasma spray torches, powder is injected radially through the side of the plasma stream. Pyrogenesis’ torches have been operating in thermal spray production facilities since 1995.

High Enthalpy Plasma Torches
PyroGenesis has developed high enthalpy plasma torches used in plasma atomization processes. The material to be atomized is introduced in the form of a rod or a wire into the apex formed by several converging plasma jets. These non-transferred arc torches run on argon or helium and can provide up to 100 kW of power.
