PyroGenesis’ predecessor was originally founded in 1991, and the company is now a proven leader in the design, development, manufacture and commercialisation of plasma-based waste to energy systems. PyroGenesis provides commercial solutions for the processing of waste into energy and other useful by-products. The company’s long-standing relationship with the US Navy, combined with having the only commercial ship board plasma waste treatment system in operation on the worlds largest cruise line, Carnival Cruise Lines, sets PyroGenesis apart from the rest of the world.

PyroGenesis is unique as a plasma waste technology provider as it is capable of designing and manufacturing its own plasma torches.

The company’s strong multidisciplinary team of engineers and technologists operate from a state of the art 6,000 square metre facility in Montreal, Canada. The facility has extensive in-house fabrication capabilities including machine shops, welding stations, and an assembly area for both mechanical and automation components. The after-sales support team is available 24/7 to provide technical support to all of its customers.
